How do I access QuadC?
Visit www.odessa.edu and go to the LRC homepage. Under “Quick Links” click on “Schedule Tutoring/SI Session” or visit https://odessa.quadc.io/.
How do I login to QuadC?
Step 1: Enter your OC email and password—see example below:
Email: jd0123456@myoc.odessa.edu | Password: oc + last four digits of Social Security Number (oc####)
Step 2: Verify your email by accessing your OC email account and opening the email sent by QuadC then click on the “Verify Email” box.
What do I use for the password if I don’t have a Social Security Number?
Use the last four digits of your OC ID number in place of the SSN.
How do I schedule an appointment with a tutor?
Step 1: Click on Find Services at the top of the page.
Step 2: Click on List View and enter a subject, course code, or host name into the search bar.
Step 3: Scroll through host profiles that match your search and click on View Profile to expand the host’s profile.
Step 4: Scroll down to the host’s availability and click on a date/time slot.
Step 5: Fill out all required fields and click on Book Session. You may also attach files to the booking in order to send them over to the host before the session occurs.
How can I verify that my appointment has been scheduled?
You will receive an email with the details of your appointment once your session has been booked and confirmed successfully. Your appointment will also appear on your dashboard and on your QuadC calendar.
What if I don’t get an email confirmation?
If you don’t get an email confirmation, please re-attempt to book a session. If further attempts are unsuccessful, please contact LRCtutoring@odessa.edu or 432-335-6640 for assistance.
How do I get credit for attending tutoring?
Your tutor will confirm or deny your attendance to the session during or after your scheduled appointment. Instructors will receive reports of the students who’ve attended tutoring sessions. You do NOT need to manually check-in or check-out of a session.
How do I meet with an online tutor?
You can filter a list of online tutors by selecting ‘Online’ under ‘Type’ on the left-hand side of the screen. Once your appointment is booked, you will receive an email confirmation with the details of your appointment. When it’s time for your session, Login to QuadC→ View Bookings → View All → click on the session → Join Session
For an online appointment, you have the ability to record your session and download it at the end of your appointment to refer back to it later. You’ll also have access to a virtual whiteboard and screen-sharing capabilities during your session.
How do I cancel an appointment?
You can cancel an appointment by accessing the booking on your dashboard and clicking on the trash icon to cancel the appointment.
What happens if I miss my tutoring appointment?
If you miss 3 or more tutoring sessions in a week, you will be blocked from scheduling further appointments that week. If you are unable to attend the session you scheduled, we highly recommend you cancel the appointment and book another session when more convenient.
How can I provide feedback about my tutor?
You can leave a review after your tutoring session by accessing the email you receive at the end of your appointment. All reviews must contain appropriate language or they will be deleted by admin users.
How can I get in touch with my tutor before or after my session?
You can use the chat feature to communicate with your tutor(s) before and after your appointment.
What other features does QuadC have?
QuadC has the ability to show you upcoming, current and past appointments. Additionally, QuadC will automatically create a list of all the tutors you’ve met with in the past to make it easier to re-book a session with them—they will be listed on the right-hand side of the screen on your dashboard under ‘My Hosts.’
